Karl Elken has been promoted to president and publisher of Ziff Davis weekly eWeek. He was previously publisher.

Kevin O'Keefe will replace Diane O'Connor as Vice president of the events division at Canon Communications. He will manage the 16 trade shows run by Canon, which is an Apprise Media company.

Kevin Neary has been named chief financial officer and senior vice president of Primedia. He will be replacing Beverly Chell, a company co-founder and vice chairman who is retiring effective June 30.

The Magazine Group has named Scott Morehouse, vice president of sales. Morehouse will concentrate on the firm's healthcare and pharmaceutical business which include such organizations as the American Diabetes Association, National Hemophilia Foundation, Lupus Foundation of America, National Multiple Sclerosis Society and WebMD.

Los Angeles Confidential has hired Jo Campbell-Fujii as associate publisher. She formerly worked for the Los Angeles Times and Distinction.

Dierdre Finnegan has been promoted to associate publisher of Cottage Living. She has served as advertising director since the magazine's launch in 2005.

Former senior vice president and editorial director of Prevention, Rosemary Ellis has been named editor in chief of Good Housekeeping. She replaces Ellen Levine, who has been named editorial director of Hearst Magazines.

Maxim has named Steven DeLuca associate publisher. He has been associate publisher of both Vanity Fair and In Style.

John Rice has been joined Food & Wine as creative services director. He is formerly of Domino, where he served as promotion director.

Alex DeBarr has been named CEO and President of Naylor, a provider of b-to-b media solutions for trade and professional associations in North America. DeBarr joins Naylor after 21 years at Advanstar.

Eating Well Media Group has named Tony Catalano, publisher and chief sales officer. He joins Eating Well after working various positions at Hachette Filipacchi.

Lesley Meyer has been named photography director at Sante Fe, NM-based Outside magazine.
