Singer/actor Beyoncé graces the cover of the March/April issue of L.A. Confidential Magazine in one piece bathing suit accented by bronze jewelry.
The 27 year-old pop star was recently thrilled to learn First Lady Michelle Obama hailed her as the perfect role model for her daughters Sasha, seven, and Malia, 10.
"She [Michelle Obama] told me that she was very happy that her children had an artist like myself - and I don't even feel right saying this - she said she was happy they look up to me," Beyoncé said.
Heidi Klum Parties Hearty with a Big Bun in the Oven
"LA Confidential" Cover Girl Hosts Pre-Emmy Bash
She may look ready to pop out her fourth child at any second, but Heidi Klum knows a publicity opportunity when she sees one, so there she was on Thursday night at a private mansion on the edge of Bel-Air, celebrating her September cover of Los Angeles Confidential magazine and her Emmy nomination for Project Runway.
After posing for a slew of pics with the mag's owner Jason Binn, Heidi tottered into the terraced backyard and headed quickly for a seat. She's due to have the baby in early October, which was obvious in her skin-tight black dress; in fact, she laughed and told composer David Foster that one early-evening party was all she can handle these days.
"I have to go home right after this," the German supermodel grinned. "My kids are up at 6AM!"
When we asked her where hubby Seal was hiding, she laughed again. "My husband never goes out with me at night," she revealed. And it's true, he never does.
On a night when celebs are guaranteed to party-hop the slew of crosstown pre-Emmy fiestas, most of Klum's famous pals were M.I.A. Maybe it was the unbelievably crappy valet parking that caused a traffic jam on Sunset Boulevard? The temptation to bolt was already strong, we have to admit, the valet sitch was just the topper. You'd think with all the parties in this town, they'd have it figured out by now.
The few famous faces who did brave the parking clusterf**k included Debra Messing, singer Taylor Dayne, designer Christian Audigier, and ex-reality-show-model-turned-actress Eva Marcille.
All-in-all, it was David Foster who said it best as he headed out the door, "We're out of here, there's no one interesting that we know here. Said hi to Heidi, that's it, we're done. I guess this is a model party, huh?"
Yep, just another boring night on the Hollywood party scene.
The 27-year-old singer/actress admits that while she sings songs to help women get through break-ups, there is no one who does that for her, citing that she has needed it.
When Beyoncé was asked whose songs help her get through heartache the ways her songs do for fans, she claims “Well, fortunately I haven’t had any break-ups! This is my first relationship.” [referring to her highly-guarded marriage to Jay-Z].Bigger cover pics inside…
How does Beyoncé help her female fans through heartaches if she has never been through one herself?!
Looking super sexy in a Hervé Léger Spring 2009 swimsuit, Beyoncé confessed to L.A. Confidential Magazine that while she sings songs to help women get through breakups, she has never experienced it herself.
She says: “Well, fortunately I haven’t had any breakups! This is my first relationship,” referring to her super private marriage to Jay Z.
"I’m very, very happy, that’s all I’ll say. We were together for a really long time before we got married; we were in no rush."
While their relationship has lasted longer than most Hollywood marriages, she admits, "We don’t have a normal relationship because of our careers. Adding, "We’re not perfect, it’s just natural for people to start rumors and try to break things up."
Beyoncé and Jay Z have been together since 2002, so that doesn't leave much room for another relationship. She is after all only 27. To check out the full interview of Beyoncé in L.A. Confidential, make sure to pick up their latest issue at newsstands now.
Emmy nominee Heidi Klum may only be a few weeks away from having a baby girl, but she refuses to give up her high heels.
Last night, the hot mama hit Los Angeles Confidential's pre-Emmy party wearing 7-inch leopard-print heels and a tight black dress to show off her baby bump.
"Even at the Emmy's, I'm gonna wear high heels all night, and when I can't do it anymore, then it's time to go home," she said of her plans for Sunday.
One major event she might not make it to this year? The Victoria's Secret fashion show. The supermodel says she doesn't think she can bounce back in time to strut her stuff...
"The last time [I gave birth], I had two months, and I don't know if I have that much time this time," she confessed on the carpet. "It was pushing it the last time. But if I don't make it, I'm sure I'll be very sad."
As for baby names, Heidi said she and hubby Sealhave four or five ideas, but are waiting to see their little girl before deciding on one.
Inside the bash at a private estate in Bel-Air, Heidi mingled with guests sipping Stoli cocktails and Sapporo beer.
Her friend Debra Messing came to toast her Confidentialcover, as did Twilight's Rachelle Lefevere.
(March 11) - In the March issue of Los Angeles Confidential, Beyoncé shows she's pretty fierce in a one-piece bathing suit. The booty-shaking singer opened up to the magazine about taming her sexuality and maintaining her sanity while keeping her marriage to rapper Jay-Z out of the scrutinizing public eye.
In the March issue of Los Angeles Confidential, Beyoncé shows she's pretty fierce in a one-piece bathing suit.
Beyoncé opens up to Los Angeles Confidential about her relationship with Jay-Z: "This is my first relationship. I'm very private and, of course, I don't talk about it, but I'm very, very happy... We don't have a normal relationship because of our careers. But celebrity or not, you go through the exact same things. We're not perfect."
Beyoncé tells L.A. Confidential about how she tames her sexuality: "I still have the values I grew up with. The reason I maintain my sanity and I'm still the same person is because of those values. When I'm performing, I'm able to be whoever I want to be on stage. I have my alter ego, Sasha -- and it's kind of like a character but I leave it on the stage, and I don't walk around being over-the-top in real life. It's just a part of my artistic expression."
“I don’t know… do I really wanna be in a photo with Heidi Klum? Am I crazy?” I asked the gorgeous model last night, as we took some photos together at an event in her honor.
She laughed and said “Don’t be silly, get over here!” making me feel comfortable (if not entirely confident!) about being in the same frame as one of the most beautiful people on the planet. I must be one brave chick! Ha ha!
It’s a cliché, but what can I say, Heidi is truly radiant. She’s due in October and I give her props for not only being out at night, but also looking pretty fabulous doing it. She rocked sky high Christian Louboutin heels and a sexy black formfitting gown by L’Agence, accessorized with sparkly earrings.
The last time I saw Heidi was at a dinner party in January the night before I was due with my baby girl. We share the same pediatrician and we mostly talked about kids and babies and being a mom and having more children. (Heidi is expecting her fourth!)
She was the guest of honor at a party celebrating both her cover for Los Angeles Confidential Magazine and the Emmys this weekend. She’s nominated for host of “Project Runway” and the show is nominated for Best Reality Competition Program as well. Heidi is also an Executive Producer on the show, as is Desiree Gruber who was at the event with Heidi.
The event was held at an estate overlooking the Bel-Air Country Club golf course. The tennis court was turned into a mobile “Pure” Nightclub complete with DJ and bar serving sour apple martinis. Spring rolls, oysters and lamb chops were served.
Ed Hardy designer Christian Audigier and BCBG’s Max Azria were also at the party and I heard that Debra Messing was there… but I never saw her.
We were escorted to “Heidi’s VIP Gazebo,” which was an outdoor pavilion loaded with Sprinkles Cupcakes all done in pink. The “Sprinkles Truck” was also on location and we got cupcakes to go when we hit the valet to leave. Sweet!
