McConaughey Talks Fatherhood & 'Ghosts'

In the May issue of Los Angeles Confidential, actor Matthew McConaughey admits fatherhood "feels pretty natural" and has just "been rolling with it." McConaughey talks about traveling the world, working with actress Kate Hudson and why 'Ghosts of Girlfriends Past' is unlike any romantic comedy he's done before.

On fatherhood: "The instincts kinda took over. [Levi] is seven months old now, and after six months, there's a real change. Their personalities really start coming through."

On traveling the world with his son: "He's already got five stamps on his passport! He's been to Europe and Brazil. Culture and travel are the two best educators in my life, and I've been fortunate to have been exposed to quite a bit of both."

On predicable romantic comedies: "If you see Matthew McConaughey and Kate Hudson, you know they're going to get together."

On his character in 'Ghosts of Girlfriends Past': "It was great to have a character with a full-on anti-establishment point of view. The guy believes love is a myth. He struts through the first part of the story with a very R-rated perspective. The he runs into these ghosts. He doesn't see the light thanks to someone else's logic; it's ghosts. He gets the sh*t scared out of him."

(March 11) - In the March issue of Los Angeles Confidential, Beyoncé shows she's pretty fierce in a one-piece bathing suit. The booty-shaking singer opened up to the magazine about taming her sexuality and maintaining her sanity while keeping her marriage to rapper Jay-Z out of the scrutinizing public eye.

Beyoncé opens up to Los Angeles Confidential about her relationship with Jay-Z: "This is my first relationship. I'm very private and, of course, I don't talk about it, but I'm very, very happy... We don't have a normal relationship because of our careers. But celebrity or not, you go through the exact same things. We're not perfect."

Beyoncé tells L.A. Confidential about how she tames her sexuality: "I still have the values I grew up with. The reason I maintain my sanity and I'm still the same person is because of those values. When I'm performing, I'm able to be whoever I want to be on stage. I have my alter ego, Sasha -- and it's kind of like a character but I leave it on the stage, and I don't walk around being over-the-top in real life. It's just a part of my artistic expression."
